There is a difference between Bookings and Lockins and below is the explanation of both, how they work and how much they cost.
BOOKINGS
Bookings are a way to guarantee a PC for use when you attend the store. There is no cost for MAKING a booking, only failing to show for the booking.
To make a booking the following must be in place
- Person making the booking MUST have an account with valid personal details to verify identity.
- If the booking is made on the day the PC's are needed the PC's will NEED to be free at time of the booking. The best guarantee is to make the booking the day before.
- A booking can be made for multiple PC's.
- The Account Holder that the booking is made under MUST be in store at least 15 minutes before the booking.
If the above is met than the PC's are used as per normal conditions.
If the Account Holder is not present 15 minutes BEFORE the booking time the booking will be cancelled. As well as losing the PC's the Account Holder will also have $15 per PC credited to their account for payment.
We place a sign on all PC's that are booked to give people the choice of using them before sitting in front of them. The cost is to stop people making false bookings.
LOCK-INS
Lock-ins are a way to book the entire store and have control over who is allowed in an out of the store during the Lock-in times
To book a Lock-in the following must be in place
- Person making the booking MUST be an account holder with Valid Details to verify identity.
- Lock-ins must be booked 2 days in advance.
- Lock-ins cost $50 as a booking fee and hours's are used at normal rates by the individual users.
- Lock-ins MUST have a minimum of 5 Attendees of the bookers choice.
Lock-ins can be booked for the following times.
AFTER HOURS - Anytime from close of business up to 5 hours in length
DURING HOURS - Can only be made in the first 3 Hours of opening hours or the final 3 Hours of Opening Hours and can only be up to 3 hours in length.
Lock-ins are a great way to gurantee good connections and space for Guild Events, Competitions and League Play.
